Patent Attorney Thomas M. Szymanski Joins Darrow Mustafa P.C.
Northville, Michigan August 15, 2016 - Darrow Mustafa P.C. is happy to announce that patent attorney Thomas M. Szymanski has joined Darrow Mustafa PC. Mr. Szymanski received a Juris Doctorate from University of Akron School of Law in 2010 and his Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in 2003. Before going into private practice eight years ago, Mr. Szymanski was a Patent Examiner with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Darrow Mustafa PC Attorney Mark Zylka Admitted to State Bar of Michigan
Detroit, Michigan July 22 2015 - Darrow Mustafa PC would like to congratulate Mark Zylka on being admitted to the bar for the State of Michigan today. Mr. Zylka is now admitted to practice law by the State of Florida, the State of Michigan, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. The motion for his admission to the Michigan State bar was presented in front of Chief Judge Colombo of the Third Circuit Court by fellow Darrow Mustafa PC attorney Ryan Carnago.
Darrow Mustafa PC Attorney Christopher G. Darrow Appointed as “Special Master” in Two Complex Automotive Patent Infringement Cases
Detroit, Michigan July 16, 2015 – Patent attorney Christopher G. Darrow has been appointed a “Special Master” in two complex patent infringement cases dealing multiple automotive technologies by the Honorable Mark A. Goldsmith of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan (Signal IP, Inc. v. Ford Motor Company and Signal IP, Inc. v. Fiat USA, Inc.). In his role as a Special Master, Mr. Darrow will assist in claim construction and other issues in the case.
Mr. Darrow practices in the areas of patent, trademark, copyright, and trade secret law. Mr. Darrow previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Paul D. Borman in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
Mr. Darrow received an LL.M. in intellectual property law from The George Washington University Law School, a J.D. from Wayne State University Law School, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Michigan States University.
